Project 1 - Experiencing Construction
Experiencing, Documentation and Analysing Construction Process
In a group of 8, we are required to go for two to three site visits to document construction process and produce a report.
Through this project, I have a deeper understanding on the construction process of a building. I have learned about the construction elements and its components. I also understood more about the current construction technology on local construction sites. I have learned about current materials and technology and how these are used in the construction industry.
Project 2 - Integrated Construction Detailing/Drawings
This assignment is an integrated assignment with design studio 2. In the assignment, students are required to propose three construction detailing for their design. These construction detailing has to include foundation, a superstructure and roof.

In this assignment, I had done further research and further analysed different types of structural elements. I had understood the structural elements better to decide which is the most suitable for my design project. I have also learned how to design and apply a structural element for my design project.
